For our client major Oil & Gaz player in Belgium we are looking for a Windows Engineer  (FR or NL / EN )  to join their IT team based in Brussels.

Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining Windows operating systems, application software and system management tools. Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Support staff of production sites (compressor stations, underground storage, etc.) in maintaining their ICT infrastructure in order to guarantee a smooth and safe management of their installations
• Implement and manage ICT infrastructure systems (virtual and physical application servers , backup servers, virtualization hosts, Windows active directory domain controllers, etc.)
• Analyse and troubleshoot problems and technical errors on these systems
• Set up and implement maintenance and support procedures for these systems
• Participate actively in infrastructure renewal projects on these production sites
• Propose and implement improvement actions which enable an optimal management and usage of the infrastructure

Profile:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or similar through experience
• Some experience in an industrial environment or on a production site with the maintenance of ICT infrastructure supporting ICS (Industrial Control Systems)
• A sound general knowledge of?TCP/IP networks
• In-depth knowledge of:
• Windows Server 2008 – 2019 (AD, DHCP, DNS, IIS, …)
• VMWare VSphere (ESXi, VCenter)
• Knowledge of:
• McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)
• SCOM (System Center Operation Manager)
• SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
• WSUS (Windows Server Update Services)
• Veeam Backup and Replication
• A strong customer orientation, flexibility and proactivity
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in Dutch with a good knowledge of French and English or Fluency in French with good knowledge of Dutch and French
• Drivers license B
• Travel across the different sites of the company 3 to 4 days a week
