For our client major Oil & Gaz player in Belgium we are looking for a Lead Infrastructure Architect ( FR or NL / EN ) to join the Digital Lounge Transformation project based in Brussels.

• You will ensure that the various Digital Lounge teams choose the best possible ICT infrastructure for the applications they develop, taking into account the company's ICT infrastructure architecture and security policy
• You have a solid understanding of the various ICT infrastructure options and will use this to assist the Digital Lounge teams
• You will be the link between the Digital Lounge team and the ICT Operations team, ensuring that ICT infrastructure is available for the teams, be it on premises or in the cloud
• You will support the development of technical projects within ICT Operations, whose responsibilities include the management of telemetry, optical fibre, networks, servers, storage and databases
• You will provide input for the technical standards
• You will monitor technological developments and share them within ICT Operations
• You will contribute to the optimal day-to-day functioning of ICT infrastructure (SLA compliance) and support the ICT management processes
• You will assist with drawing up budgets and sourcing (HW, SW)

Profile:

• A master's degree in ICT or equivalent experience
• Several years' experience with cloud technologies or centralised ICT systems as an infrastructure architect
• Broad ICT generalist knowledge and a keen interest in various ICT technologies
• The ability to work in ever-changing project groups and to apply your expertise in this context
• An analytical, methodical and careful way of working
• Willingness to work on call and on standby
