Senior Security Architect

Mission:

 

The mission of our client's Cybersecurity department is to deliver best-fit security services and solutions to protect business operations and assets, support the implementation of a flexible information risk management strategy, enhance information security maturity, and develop security architectures aligned with business objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish and maintain enterprise security models, architecture, patterns, and guidelines.
  • Support IT architects in developing "secure by-design" application architectures based on security patterns, requirements, and risk analysis.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with IT and Business stakeholders to promote long-term cybersecurity goals.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity adoption throughout the enterprise and influence security practices through knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Assist management in developing strategic vision and roadmap for security services and write high-quality management memos.

Requirements:

 

  • At least 8 years of acknowledged professional experience in Information Security.
  • Fluent in English and at least one local language.
  • Occasional travel to Paris may be required.
  • Expected split of 50% on-site and 50% remote work.
  • Demonstrable communication and influencing skills (written, verbal, strategic). [mandatory] 
  • Deep knowledge of information security topics, particularly in Cloud-native or Cloud-ready components. [mandatory] 
  • Experience with architecture models covering business, IT technical, or operational views. [mandatory] 
  • Familiarity with security risk assessments, audits, and mitigation plan development. [mandatory] 
  • Experience in the banking environment is preferable.
  • Good knowledge of information security standards & frameworks (e.g., ISO 2700x, NIST, SANS).
  • Familiarity with IT architecture methodologies and structured security architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA).
  • In-depth understanding of threats applicable to Financial Services.
