Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Scope and prioritize incidents from various teams/departments, applying your technical acumen to resolve issues promptly. Clearly define next steps and ensure necessary actions are taken.
  • Knowledge Enhancement: Update and maintain our knowledgebase, sharing insights and expertise to empower the team and reduce the number of incidents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, development teams, and operators to prioritize bug fixes and improve the overall release management process.
  • Technical Support: Provide guidance to QA, Operations, and other teams to support tandem platform interoperability.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions for DSTNY teams, enhancing their technological proficiency to minimize ticket escalation.
  • Vendor Engagement: Foster relationships with vendors, contributing to architecture development and addressing escalated production issues.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to process improvements within the Engineering BE team, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
  • Collaboration with Product Management: Work closely with the commercial product manager to align technical strategies with business goals.

Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of ICT engineering experience with a focus on VoIP/SIP applications.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of voice and data communications, with expertise in designing voice transport/application diagrams, SIP call routing, and Linux.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English and either Dutch or French.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Experience with Softswitches, Session Border Controllers, SIP proxies, and Media Servers.
  • Microsoft Teams: Proficiency in Microsoft Teams voice and backend operations.
  • Linux: Working knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
  • Scripting: Ability to script in Python.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly grasp innovative technologies.
