Within the chapter area of Quoting to Provisioning applications, we bring digital technology expertise, skills & knowledge in order to provide the best digital native customer experience for Proximus products & services.

As a team lead (chapter owner) within one of the chapters in the Quote 2 Provisioning area, you are responsible for :

  • Driving people excellence by stimulating a customer centric culture and creating a competitive advantage for delivering employee satisfaction and business results.
  • Creating chapter area talent & sourcing strategy to ensure availability of best-in-class talent, skills and competence to help achieve the business priorities.
  • Enforcing standards, consistency, best practices and synergies between competences or technical skills within chapter areas and center of excellence (CoE).
  • Building capabilities of chapter members in same skill group (incl. career paths, resource allocation, recruitment etc.).
  • Guaranteeing the consistency and evolution of the systems and architecture in close collaboration with different groups of the same skill.
  • Defining the vision for the Quote 2 Provisioning capabilities (e.g., methodologies, application vision).
  • Developing skills and creating exciting career tracks from junior to expert levels across the different chapters.
  • Defining and supporting adoption of technology standards and best practices (e.g., code repositories, branching, code review practices, test & release standards).
  • Driving technical excellence by continuously moving the bar on engineering (e.g., test automation coverage, technical debt standards, release automation, CI/CD framework).
  • Enabling distributed development by removing architectural and process impediments.
  • Driving information sharing and peer learning within the Chapter Area.
  • Managing the sourcing mix to ensure adequate internal skill development and manage near-/off-shoring ratios bringing outside-in expertise.

Your profile:

  • You have a bachelor or master degree (preferably in an IT related domain) or equivalent by experience. You have a broad ICT-knowledge.
  • You have excellent skills in leadership and coaching to manage and motivate a team of technical experts and Service Level Managers.
  • You have a good understanding and knowledge about various quoting, selling, ordering and or provisioning applicationsdigital technologies (couchbase, kafka, microservices, kubernetes, reactive architecture, react native, Graph-QL, angular, web3.0, …)
  • You like to develop the competences of your team in function of the needs of the business.
  • You are customer and solution oriented.
  • You are good listener and reliable and have a great sense of responsibility and can do.
  • You take initiatives, behave in a pro-active way and strive in a continuous way for improvements for the own team but also in an E2E approach.
  • You have analytical skills, are well organised, can estimate workload and define the correct priorities.
  • You are flexible, assertive and resistant to stress and you can adapt quickly in a fast changing environment.
  • You have good communication skills, both written and spoken, you are able to convince people and you speak English, French and Dutch.
