What does a IT Support Engineer do at SPIE Belgium ICS?

Our teams support and facilitate the digital transformation of our corporate and enterprise customers all over Belgium. SPIE Belgium ICS designs, operates and integrates tailored ICT solutions in the areas of Workspace, IT Security, Datacenter & Cloud, Printing & Document Management and IP Connectivity.

As an IT Support Engineer for the ICS Division of SPIE Belgium, you provide remote or on site IT support to our customers. You will advise and provide quality technical support to our customers, through our managed services, projects and consultancy.

In which areas will you outperform?

  • You are responsible for incoming calls or on site activities related to ICT requests, incidents and problems.
  • You respond to user requests, identify and analyse the problems and you try to find a solution.
  • Your excellent soft skills combined with your broad technical interests allow you to provide quality IT support to your customers
  • You follow ITIL best practices and use the supporting ITSM tooling to create, update and resolve tickets
  • You work closely with other resolver groups to successfully resolve IT support tickets
  • You are a team player who helps deliver projects (migrations, roll-outs, …) to our customers
  • You follow the evolutions in technology and services and enjoy growing your competenties and certifications, aligned with our strategic direction and supported by our various training possibilities. You share this knowledge with your colleagues in our Competence Centers and by writing knowledge articles.
