My client, a company in fully expansion is looking to hire a skilled IT Support & Field Engineer to assist their clients with all IT related technical support issues.
- Be the first point of contact for coordinating user problems resolution
- Responding to client IT support requests.
- Assist end-users directly or escalate issues to other team members when necessary
- Maintain, support and troubleshoot: computers, servers, printers, VoIP, Wi-Fi, MDM, network infrastructure e.g.
- Installing and configuring client computer systems.
- Ensuring mass deployment based on Group’s Standards.
- Meeting with clients to diagnose software, networking or hardware issues.
- Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems.
- Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
- Offering solutions that meet the needs of the client.
- Facilitate IT onboarding for new employees.
- Maintaining good client relations.
- Tracking and managing work records.
- Compiling job reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
- French / Dutch / English written ans spoken
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and IP-based protocols.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
- Good time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think critically.
