Functional Analyst Ordering & Provisioning

Context

As Functional Analyst within the team of Fixed Provisioning Engineering you are a member of the ITS department of Proximus.

The Functional Analyst actively participates in the elaboration of the Ordering and Provisioning architecture. This you do together with Project Architects in respect with the requirements of our internal and external customers.

You are responsible for the follow-up of the projects assigned to you and you make sure they are delivered to the development team in time and within the foreseen budget.

You work in an exciting and challenging environment with a great diversity on project content. These projects touch the heart of the company and you get the chance to work together with people from the different departments and levels.

Content of the function

  • You take up your role on the elaboration of the IT solutions (based on architectural documentation) together with Functional Analysts of other teams and domains keeping the business and the operational needs in mind.
  • You play an active role in the evolution of the ordering and provisioning architecture. You stay in contact with the deployed solutions via your operational contacts who express their needs and requirements on the IT solution.
  • You define together with the development project estimates and costs for which you are responsible.
  • You document detailed functional specifications for your assigned projects in line with the architectural decisions.
  • Together with the test team you define test scenarios to make sure new functionalities are validated and the operational continuity is guaranteed.
  • You are responsible for the daily follow-up of your projects and make sure they are delivered within budget and time.
  • You report daily on the status of your projects to the project team and identify potential risks.
  • You consider the impact of your solution on the IT infrastructure and the volumes that need to be processed.

  • You have a bachelor or master degree (preferably in an IT related domain) or equivalent by experience.
  • You have an expert level and have at least 5 years of experience within Sales- or Ordering Management.
  • You have good knowledge of sales-, ordering- and provisioning processes.
  • You focus on quality.
  • You have ambition to learn the end-to-end business processes within the company.
  • You can negotiate and find a compromise with respect to certain basic principles.
  • You are capable to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • You are customer oriented and can manage stressful situations.
  • You have a genuine interest in IT technologies and its applications.
  • You have experience in analysing and working on multiple IT projects and processes simultaneously.
