Functional Analyst (.NET)

  • As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for, among other things, translating the business needs of our client into functional and technical analyzes that you then pass on to the developers. Testing, documentation, preparation and support of deployment can also be part of your duties;
  • You will report to the Business Area Lead and will work together with the support manager and external partners;
  • You will use your experience as a functional and/or technical analyst to improve the problems surrounding the operational management, communication to external users and the open information system;
  • You will make functional improvement proposals for existing applications and ensure that these applications meet the needs in the field;
  • You will analyze bugs and data quality problems occurring with several applications and make proposals to solve issues;
  • You will assist in the redaction of test scenarios;
  • You will take part in (regression) tests in the context of go-life situations;
  • You will document processes / information flows and applications;
  • You act as the SPOC for the functional analysts, developers, solution architects, enterprise architects and the several external teams, for the projects that are dedicated to you;
  • You will contribute to the construction of reports and dashboards for key users and management.

  • You have a Master's degree or you are equivalent through relevant professional experience;
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience as a functional or technical analyst;
  • You have knowledge of the .NET framework;
  • You have experience in IT Project work;
  • You have good analytical and technical competences;
  • You are familiar with the Agile methodology;
  • You have good knowledge as a user of IT packages, including MS Office, Sparx EA, ...
  • You have a result and customer-oriented attitude;
  • Having experience with the design of IT applications is a plus, having experience in the transport sector is a significant additional advantage;
  • You have good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and French, as well as business English.
